I am excited to share with you the celebration of the XXXI National Congress of Health Law, which this year will take place on November 20 and 21 again at the Novotel Madrid Center, under the slogan "Europe, legal framework for health in the 21st century".
We will address an essential reflection: health protection has transcended the national level and it is essential to analyse it from a European perspective. In an increasingly interconnected world, it is critical to consider supranational regulatory frameworks and their impact on ensuring equitable and effective access to health.
Since its inception, our congress has been a fundamental meeting point for health professionals, jurists, academics and legislators. Here we have discussed and analyzed the most pressing challenges, necessary reforms, and best practices at the intersection of law and public health. This year will be no exception.
Throughout this congress, we will have the opportunity to discuss and share knowledge with experts from different disciplines, strengthening the dialogue between legal and health professionals. I am confident that this edition will allow us to make progress in the construction of a more solid legal framework aligned with the idea of "more Europe" that will allow us to provide an adequate response to the new problems raised and will allow us to advance in the construction of a more solid and effective legal system to guarantee the well-being of citizens in the 21st century.
I am sure that the XXXI National Congress of Health Law will be an enriching and memorable experience for everyone. Together, we will continue to work for solutions and debate on health law and fair and effective health legislation, which responds to the needs of our society and protects the right to health of all citizens.
